Itinerary

Day 01 – Arrival / Negombo

Arrive in Sri Lanka and transfer to Negombo, a peaceful coastal town perfect for rest after your journey. Relax and prepare for a spiritually enriching tour ahead.

Day 02 – Negombo → Chilaw → Kandy

Travel to Chilaw to visit the sacred Munneswaram Temple, associated with Lord Rama’s penance, and the nearby Manavari Temple, where Lord Rama installed the first lingam as Lord Shiva. Continue to Kandy for a short city tour.

Day 03 – Kandy → Nuwara Eliya

Visit Sri Baktha Hanuman Kovil, believed to be where Lord Hanuman searched for Sita. In Nuwara Eliya, explore the Seetha Amman Kovil, a temple dedicated to Sita Devi, situated near the believed site of Ashok Vatika.

Day 04 – Nuwara Eliya → Bandarawela

En route to Bandarawela, visit Divurumpola, the site where Sita underwent the trial of fire to prove her purity. Also visit Gayathri Peedam, said to be the site where King Ravana performed Shiva worship.

Day 05 – Bandarawela → Ella → Kataragama

Stop at Ravana Falls and explore the nearby Ravana Caves, linked to the legendary kidnapping of Sita. Continue the journey to the sacred town of Kataragama, home to a temple revered by multiple faiths.

Day 06 – Kataragama → Galle → Colombo

Visit Kataragama Temple, one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in Sri Lanka. En route to Colombo, explore Ussangoda (believed to be scorched by Ravana’s flying chariot), Rumasela in Galle (connected to Hanuman’s journey), Seenigama Temple in Hikkaduwa, and end the day at Sri Anjaneyar (Hanuman) Temple in Colombo.

Day 07 – Colombo / Departure

Conclude your sacred journey and transfer to the airport for your departure, filled with spiritual insight and cultural memories.
